F.A.Q
In Anand Krishna’s own words…
What is Meditation?
It is not concentration, but de-concentration. Concentration tires us; meditation rejuvenates us. No that concentration is not necessary, it has its use in the daily routine. At the end of the day however, we need to rest, to relax. Meditation relaxes you. Not just your body and mind, but also your soul.
This is the first step – deep relaxation.
The next step is that of rejuvenation. But, even that is not the end of meditation. As you enter deeper into your being in the state of meditation – you access the source of inner joy and bliss within you. This source is love, unconditional, and infinite.
Meditation, in one simple line, is the way to celebration, to live in joy.
Be Joyful, and Share Your Joy with Others!
What do I Gain from Meditation?
You gain your “self”, your true self that is ever blissful, joyful, and eternal. Rather, you “dis”-cover your self. It is the ultimate venture that promises you unsurpassed profit. There is no other more profitable venture than meditation.
Know Thyself, and Know the Secret of True Happiness!
Does Anand Ashram Endorse to any Particular Belief System?
No, it does not.
We do, however, promote interfaith harmony and co-operation, based on mutual understanding and appreciation.
Follow your own religion. Adhere to your chosen belief system. You do not have to change your religion, or belief system – for, as they say, all roads lead to Rome. (See also:Â One Earth One Sky One Humankind)
