Solo – April the 6th 2012, the first Friday of the month, Anand Krishna Information Center (AKIC) Solo held the second round of Neo Self Empowerment Meditation preceded by a study circle on one of Mr. Anand Krishna’s books, “Total Success”.
The occasion started at 7 p.m. with a brief review on the book of Total Success followed by a discussion by the participants. Here is the report on what was being talked about in the discussion: One’s success can never be separated from other people’s success. Our success will be complete if only we have come to a point when we are able to actually share it with others. If we only accumulate wealth without any conscious will to share it, it will be equal to stuffing ourselves with food without ever defecating. Surely it will cause a serious illness to our body.
The similar thing happens when we only accumulate and forget to share. Then a serious ill implication will come to our life causing our life become miserable. The money, prestige, power and the tittles that we have accumulated will be a curse to our life if we don’t want to consciously make use of them as means of manifesting goodness to ourselves and all. Sharing our success is not only good, it is good commendable. Sharing is the only guarantee that our success will be meaningful and long-lasting.
Nature has given us a good example how to share. Even our body has given a really good one. We have a mouth, through which we feed ourselves with food, and at the same time we have anus, through which our feces as the residue of the food that has been processed in our body get out. This shows that life is about receiving from and dedicating back to the nature gracefully and consciously. By realizing and practicing this very philosophy of nature, we will gain a true health in our life.
Then the second round of the Neo Self Empowerment Meditation led by Pak Triwidodo as the facilitator was about emotion culturing. Our emotion is actually created by our interaction with our surrounding. Usually after having lots of activities all day long, we will become emotional.
Our emotion, just like our physic, is one of layers of our consciousness that we need to manage, take care of and pay attention to. Paying attention to that layer of consciousness by listening to or uttering certain types of sound will be very much relaxing. By hymning certain types of sound such as A, U, M, we are actually synchronizing the vibration of our body to that of the nature. Then the consciousness layer of emotion will be put back in harmony.
This is actually scientific. As we know that there is the law of resonation stating that our body is influenced and affected by the vibration state of our surrounding. Our body consists of ever dynamically moving atoms. The vibration of our body is not always harmonious. This practice of meditation is intended to put our emotion back to its harmonious mood that can be done when we hymn the sounds of A U M.
The comments from some participants also indicated that this practice of meditation can actually lead us to gaining peace, relaxation and spirit. The occasion ended at 8.30 p.m. Thanks to the Existence for this very precious opportunity. May All creatures be Happy…
