Celuk, January 19th, 2012.
This time Anand Krishna began his discourse by singing a song which, according to him, was usually sung at the beginning of the Bhajan in the early 70s. Later Baba placed the Ganesha song as the first song.
Om Bhagawan…. Om Bhagawan…. Om Bhagawan…Sai Natha Bhagawan
Om Bhagawan…. Om Bhagawan…. Om Bhagawan…Satya Sai Bhagawan
Om Bhagawan…. Om Bhagawan…. Om Bhagawan…Sad Guru Bhagawan
It is a beautiful song to express venerations to a guru.
Anand Krishna then told about his experience when he was present at the commemoration of Baba’s anniversary on November 23rd, 2011. He said he was not ready to lose a Sad Guru. He sat before Baba’s mahasamadi and waited for the Dharsan with Baba. He felt sad for being left behind by Baba.
Back to the experience when he was with Baba, on one occasion Baba asked him in the interview room. “Do you know, what is the way to God?” Everybody was silent including him. Baba then knocked his head, “Forget?”

Baba reminded, “Start the day with Love, fill the day with Love, end the day with Love…That is the way to God”. It was the song first taught to the children in the Ashram. Baba continued, “God is Love, compassion and the way to Him is also Love”.
Sometimes we were jealous with people who were called for an interview with Baba, while we knew the circumstances of this person, she or he often perpetrated malicious deeds to others. And we asked how could he or she get an interview with Baba? Baba explained, “First the people who need me are sick people, they need medicine. Those who are close to me are usually deaf and blind, those who sit far away can still see and hear”.
We are never bored of listening to his experience with Baba. Anand Krishna continued; when we went to Puttaparti, in the past, we could sit for a week, two weeks and even a month, just to be able to stay with Baba. A cleansing process happened inside us during that time; Baba’s physical body cleansed our dirty souls. Of course such experience cannot be repeated anymore now.
“I have talked a lot about life”, Anand continued. “Now I am going to talk about death. Shortly before we die our mind will play our lives back very fast. A lot of thoughts will reappear. We will remember everything we have done in this life. Our mind becomes confused. A black out will occur and when we become conscious again we are already in a mother’s womb”.

Therefore, Adhi Shankara named us mud-brained. But there is still hope. When a lotus flower is planted in the mud and given clean water, it will grow well. Yet, too much mud is no good either. We should have enough mud, enough clean water; there should be a lotus plant which needs a little caring. And then it can grow.
To complete his discourse that evening, Anand mentioned a little bit about the last discourse of Baba about the youth and women. According to him, the fate of this nation depends on the youth and women. A father merely continues his information to his children. And if the information is wrong, it becomes the duty of the mother to correct it when her children are still young.
