Denpasar – The event was started with a visit to the Secret Garden. A venue that is located approximately 100 meters from Anand Krishna Center Denpasar, dedicated to Mother of the Universe and all of Her children. The next visit was to One Earth School (OES), a school which was initiated by Anand Krishna, it taught the values of each religion. It expected that every student is able to respect every religion. The presence of John Troy was accompanied by Anand Krishna and Anand Ashram’s boards.
John Troy is an American spiritualist. Even-though he has been 83 years old, the man who was born in the North Carolina state is still very healthy. John is a great admirer of Sri Ramana Maharshi, a Yogi from India. Before he retired from his job, John was the owner of the world’s largest organic food processing company.
In his sharing, John said that the present moment is the most important. While being in a present moment there is no conflict or hostility and now and here is God. Another interesting point is when John told us that when someone falls in love, then he/she must fall down the head, his/her ego. In other words, someone who can love others is a person that has fallen his/her ego down.
John is a pure Adwaita. He gave a simple example, when we see an object or a form, the mind tend to give the impression whether good or bad thought. Then, me who created the impression, indeed it can not do nothing, but think that it could do something. To go beyond this thinking, we must live in the present moment.
At the end, Anand Ashram’s music group sang some songs. John and other participants were singing and dancing together.
