Gunung Kidul – Tuesday morning at 7:30 am, the Education Team of Indonesian Education Values: Mutual Cooperation and Selfless Work arrived at PAUD Tunas Harapan, Nglegi, Patuk. It can be seen that some children had arrived and was playing around with their friends before the class starts at 08.00 am.
After a few moments for preparation, the activity was started at 8:00 am by singing and forming a circle. Then, it was proceeded by learning how to wash hands well. The children were looked so enthusiastic when it came to the working together session, they were mimicking the shape of some trees. They tried so hard to establish a strong tree so it can not lose balance easily.
At the story telling session, the kids were paying attention to the story. It told how a younger brother who was finally able to wash the dishes after honestly saying that he can not do this to his brother.
All the activities were closed by working together to clean the environment around the school of PAUD Tunas Harapan. We cleaned the walls from some weeds and picked up garbage to be put into a plastic garbage can. “Let’s go inside the classroom”, then we sang “Sayonara to go home” to end several activities of Indonesian Culture Values Education: Mutual Cooperation and Selfless Work for this time.
