Bogor – Saturday (11/02) at 16:00 pm, Anand Ashram Foundation (affiliated with United Nations) held the 3rd blood donation social service. This activity was held at One Earth Retreat Center, Bukit Pelangi, Ciawi.
The participants were coming from the local communities and other cities such as Depok, Jakarta and Tangerang. There were 40 donors who enthusiastically contribute in this activity.
“I will donate blood as a routine activity every three months. Initially, I do not have any intention to participate, but finally I got the awareness from my friends at Anand Ashram Foundation. Indeed, it makes me happy to share some blood. Hopefully there are benefits for the other who need it, ” David Purba (39) explained with enthusiasm.
In fact, the donors was moved by the same intention to share with other people who need some blood. Blood donation’s committee from Anand Ashram Foundation, Rudy Hartono (38) said, “I feel happy to be a part of this social service. We will invite the public who want to donate blood so the participants’ number would increase more. “
