Anand Ashram Held a Social Service at St. Vincent Orphanage, Jakarta

Jakarta – With smiley faces 40 friends from Anand Ashram Foundation (affiliated with UN) held a social service on Sunday (18/12)  at St. Vincent  Orphanage to share  joy.

According to the Chief Executive, Rudy Hartono, “We do not only share food or other needs, but the most important is to share joy. With this bliss,  any heavy problems will be lighter. Moreover, not only a pity heart  which is up lifted, but the spirit to fill this life with great joy will be regain. ”

There were 83-orphans there. Most of them were still studying at junior and senior high school. They were so enthusiastic  participating in any programs presented by the committee. For example, a dancing competition.  Person who dance vigorously and laugh loudly  got  a book  written by Anand Krishna. He was the founder of Anand Ashram Foundation (1991). At that time, all participants were singing, dancing and laughing together to enjoy every single moment.

In addition, the committee also donated some medicines. Then, the event was closed with having meal together. Cheerfulness were sparkling from the faces of  those orphanage children. These also gave happiness to all friends from Anand Ashram.  With this sense of beauty, they went back to their homes.

An understanding emerged, “No need to be rich first to  share joy with others,  because the abundant wealth is  similar to an infinite happiness from within. Be joyful and share your joy to anyone, this  is the true  happiness  for all of us.”
