Declaring the establishment of National Integration Movement at the Monument of Proclamation, Jl. Pegangsaan Timur 56 on 11 April 2005
National Integration Movement (NIM) is an organization for all Indonesians from different background, religion, ethnic group, gender and education who are concerned with Indonesia’s unity and national integrity. NIM was established in response to the threat to Indonesia’s national integration, particularly those caused by conflicts in the name of religion and ethnicity in several regions in Indonesia.
