It’s a sunny morning 15 January 2012, with Sunday morning spirit which was still fresh, One Earth and Sari Husada’s Nutrition Education Team re-enlivened Taman Pintar Yogyakarta by hosting Children World Class Citizen Party and Parenting Programs: Let’s be Literate in Nutrition, started at 09:30 to 12:00 pm.
Circle Time
The event was began with a circle time. We made a circle while singing. It’s seen that children who have completed these activities began to memorize the songs’ lyrics than sing together with full of spirit. The children were looked enjoying the activity, especially when story telling time came. It told how a child who forgot to eat before doing some activities got a stomach ache. It’s ended with coloring pictures’ activity that represent the plate and its contents for the kids.
There’s an interesting sharing from one parent who follow these events, “These events are very beneficial, at once my child had difficulty to get along with other children, now he is having a lot of friends since joined this program”.
