By starting Children World Class Citizen Feast, the activity of Parenting Program “Let’s be Literate in Nutrition” was also initiated. The children gathered in a circle, they were holding hands each other.

She smartly answered the questions given by the older sisters from nutrition education team such as, “What’s kind of animal that produce milk ?”, “Cow!” Kayla said aloud. Then, when we gave pictures of food that should be eaten, “What picture are these sister?” “Fruits!”, said Kayla with full of spirit followed by the other kids. This made the other children to be excited too.
At the next session, the children who presented more than the previous session, it made the nutrition education team become more enthusiast. And this spirit was also seen from the children who attended, although some of them at first seem shy and afraid, but in the end they all enjoyed the activity.
In this session, the team saw a very active child who took part in the activity of circle time and story telling. Even while waiting for other friends finished coloring at coloring activities, he became the only child who took part of the children game from our own Archipelago “Cublak-cublak Suweng”. He acted as a “table” in the middle of his friends. The activity of each session was closed by singing “I Love You” song. See you next week friends!
