On National Education Day, Saturday, 2 May 2009, Governor of Bali, Made Mangku Pastika inaugurated One Earth School located at Jalan Pura Mertasari IV, Sunset Road Area.
Anand Krishna as the initiator of One Earth School, together with Director of Anand Krishna Education Foundation Putu Sri Yuliawati and Anand Ashram Director Maya Safira Muchtar, hoped that in the future One Earth School shall be a good model for other schools.
Through cultural-based holistic education, students of One Earth School are taught to be independent, righteous and strong individuals who have the willpower, wisdom, and excellence in action who are ready to face the challenge of globalisation, as means to achieve a new world order founded on love, peace, and harmony.
