Semarang – On last Wednesday (4/11), Anand Krishna Information Center Semarang (AKIC) started Self Empowerment exercise for the first time. For this week, exercise is taken from the book by Bapak Anand Krishna titled “Self Empowerment 1 – Meditation for Stress Management & Neo Zen Reiki for Holistic Health”, invited the participants to know and feel the benefits from Speedy Relaxation & Breathing Technique exercises.
From what we usually do, we never get away from something we called stress. From we get up of bed, and then doing daily activities, until we’re going to sleep, we always been faced by stress. On this exercise, the participants was taught to overcoming stress we feel physically. After that, it’s continued by how to breathing well. Breathing well is like a baby breathing, to use all of the body to breath, starting from the abdominal, chest, and shoulder. When we grown up, we make our breath shorter, because it’s only comes from chest breathing, and our breathing will influence how stressful in our selves.
The exercise was facilitated by bro Erwin. It was really interesting because it was attended by various ethnics such as Javanesse, Batak people, Tionghoa, and also India, and of course, they also come from a different religion. In sharing session, the participants admitted that they feel more comfortable and calmer than before the exercise. Thank You for Bapak Anand Krishna to give us a chance of practice _/\_
